Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. Calvano born in California, was originally interested in competing gymnastics. She decided, later on to pursue a career in acting. Her first screen appearance was an episode from 2010 on CBS's 'NCIS. The biographical crime drama film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year following. She has become one of the hottest actresses in recent years. In 2011 she won a Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress on a TV Series, in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. In 2013 she was also nominated for yet another Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She also made several guest appearances throughout the fourth. Her performance in the show "Mom" earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
