Kellie Martin is the American actor and director of films, is popularly known for her roles as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead for the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department-store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin started her career in acting in the age of seven years old when her aunt who served as an nanny to actor Michael Landon's kids, was able to help her get a guest spot in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". In the years following her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting and was able to get major roles on both television and cinema.
