Alison Pill
Pill produced in her home country of Canada and it took her many years to reach the point where she entered her first appearance on the American market. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill was offered a part on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would Have, Would've, and Should've" that was written and co-starred in by Naren Shakar. After her role on Picard, Pill appeared in an important supporting role on the well-loved science fiction mini-series Devs (served by digital the VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, and like she had in Picard as well, she appeared in each episode while playing a very similar part as the scientists "Katie". Its resemblance with Picard was not just a coincidence. It was revealed in the year in which she was featured, the primary theme of the series was around the preservation of consciousness inside an artificial creation. It was also the case for Data and Data too.
